Real-world training for dogs who struggle out there.
RLK9S and Everyday Exposure are practical, coached sessions in real environments — so you can build calm, confidence and skills that actually hold up on walks.
RLK9S
Real Life K9 Skills (RLK9S)
Think of this as your "bridge" between training at home and coping in the real world.
We take your training out into the real world and coach you through the messy bits: sniffing, pulling, scanning, barking, freezing, over-excitement, and everything in between.
Loose lead foundations, check-ins, disengagement, pattern games, food delivery, and handling skills — all adjusted to your dog's brain and your lifestyle.
No judgement. No jargon. You'll leave knowing what to do next, what to practise, and how to set things up so your dog can win.
What we'll work on (examples)
- Loose lead handling (without the tug-of-war)
- Check-ins and focus in distracting places
- Disengagement from triggers (dogs, people, bikes)
- Confidence building and calm exposure
- Set-ups that prevent blow-ups
- Homework you can actually stick to
Note: We'll always prioritise safety and welfare. If your dog needs a muzzle plan or management first, we'll do that.

Everyday Exposure
Calm, coached practice in real environments
Everyday Exposure sessions are short, targeted sessions designed to help your dog learn that the world is safe — and that you're a steady, predictable handler.

This is Wally 🐾
All 4 paws off the ground — sound familiar? We can help.

- A safe training location + set-up
- Live coaching (timing, handling, food delivery)
- A simple plan for next time
- Management advice to prevent rehearsals

Enough time to practise without pushing your dog over threshold.
We work under threshold and build skills — not "flood".
You'll know what to do when your dog is having a moment.

FAQ
Quick answers (so you can stop overthinking)
Yes — as long as it's safe to work. We'll choose a location and distance that keeps your dog under threshold, then build skills step-by-step.
Nope. If you're unsure where to start, send an enquiry and tell me what's happening on walks.

That's information, not failure. We'll dial it back, create distance, and focus on calming patterns and management so your dog can succeed.
